I was placed into foster care because of abuse, neglect, drugs and more. We were abused so bad that my half brother had to be taken to the hospital. I was in the system for three years and it was terrible. I understand they have good intensions but kids just want to be with their parents even if its not "ideal". It visited my mom every two weeks or so and we couldn't go to her house because it wasn't safe. we had to go to secure building with police just around the corner. I was adopted and I still try to see my birth mom often but it's been a few years since I last saw her..... Now I have anxiety, trust issues and I feel alone and confused. Through it all at least I know Jesus is in control and He works the bad for good. This isn't my home anyway. As long as I have Him I will never truly be lost. Like if you agree 😃👍

You need to give relatives the priority they are entitled to and stop placing children into unrelated foster homes when there is family available. Quit separating families to adopt these children out!
